Redpoint Positioning Corp., a developer of an ultra-wideband real-time location system solution, opens a branch in China.

Boston, MA, December 8, 2017 – Redpoint Positioning Corporation, an up-and-coming leader in the real-time location systems (or RTLS) industry, announced the establishment of a new branch in Beijing, China. Redpoint’s CTO Chunjie Duan expressed a goal to expand their commercial presence in China and the Asia-Pacific market, as well as partner with Chinese businesses to integrate Redpoint’s indoor RTLS solution with other products.

“The crew in Beijing is so happy to become members of the Redpoint Positioning family,” Eric Peng, General Manager of Redpoint China, said. “In the US, Redpoint has made some great achievements in products and market. We hope that our Beijing team can do the same thing as we did in the US, providing good products and excellent service to our customers in China.”

“Redpoint has had strong ties to China since our inception, but I am still extremely excited that we are now officially operating in China,” Chunjie Duan, CTO of Redpoint, said. “We will have a much stronger presence to capture the market opportunities in Great China and Asia-Pacific region, where we have seen tremendous demands for solid indoor RTLS solutions.”

Redpoint has been developing their high-precision, ultra-wideband indoor RTLS solution since Duan founded the company in 2010 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Now headquartered in Boston, Redpoint has a branch in Kharkiv, Ukraine in addition to their Beijing office.
